Director/Advisor   Howard Kuscher

Mr. Kuscher, a former professional actor-director, directed all The Piney Woods Players' plays from 1986 to 1999.  He has also directed the annual music-dinner theatre and the reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, portraying the part of Scrooge.

Director   Jim Wright

Mr. Wright, a skilled audio technician and guitarist, serves in that capacity for the Central Baptist Church in Livingston. He has worked as sound technician for the Piney Woods Players for several years, including Youth Talent Showcase,A Christmas Carol And the dinner/musicale...Music For You was his first venture as director for the Piney Woods Players. His talent for directing was notable by the outstanding success of the production.

Director   Michael Shukan

Dr. Shukan, a long time member of The Piney Woods Players,  has performed in many of The Piney Woods Players' plays.  Two of the productions were "Don't Drink The Water" and "The Odd Couple, Female Version."  He has demonstrated that his talents extend far greater than acting by directing and carrying the lead part in Neil Simon's comedy "God's Favorite"

Director   Lester Harlow

Mr. Harlow has been affiliated with theatre for over 25 years. He was the co-founder of “Hometown Players” in Santa Fe, Texas, producing quality summer productions in an outdoor setting. First appearing with Piney Woods Players as Sidney Lipton in Neil Simon’s GOD’S FAVORITE, Lester has appeared in HARVEY, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN DEAD, and THE HOWARD KUSCHER PLAYWRIGHT FESTIVAL. He has also brought his directing skills to the stage in such productions as STEEL MAGNOLIAS, ONLY YOU, and THE GLASS MENAGERIE. Lester serves as Membership Chair and Advisor on the PWP board.

Director Richard H.Lyne Sr.

Richard joined us some years ago as stage manager for our past productions of "Last of The Red Hot Lovers" and "The Odd Couple". Richard is currently the President of PWP as well as a producer,and Director...! He has performed with numerous groups in Florida and in Texas. Piney Woods Players is proud to have Richard serving as our chief executive. Richard has been our President for the past two years, and we hope he will continue to serve!
